From a young age, Felinda always knew she wanted to go into design. An inquisitive little girl with big dreams, she could sketch and paint all day, and was obsessed with all things glittery and sparkly. After landing her first job as a graphic designer, however, she felt that something was missing. She had an insatiable craving to do more; to create designs that would instantly grab attention the world over and help people express themselves.

After this realization, she took a huge step out of the corporate world, enrolled herself in GIA and pursued jewelry design studies in New York. Armed with new knowledge and brimming with fresh ideas, Felinda then returned to Malaysia and started Felinda Jewelry in 2017 to transform her passion into a brand that combined the two things she loved the most – design and sparkle.

Going from a nine-to-five job to suddenly handling everything on her own comes with daily struggles, but Felinda is determined to make it a success. Her work is inspired by the beauty of life: nature, architecture, experiences and her mother, who is her pillar of strength and also a jeweller in her time.

Her passion for custom design spurs her to let customers express their individuality with one-of-a-kind, meaningful jewelry. Edgy shapes with the clever use of precious stones make up strong yet feminine pieces that are both avant-garde and wearable. Only the finest diamonds, pearls and gemstones are selected for her jewelry.

Felinda’s journey is about following one’s heart and having courage to take that first step to be different. She is now living her dream, but continues to learn every day and strives to create jewelry that will surprise and influence the fashion world, one gem at a time.
